How to connect to MySQL Database from remote server? Print

- Log into your cPanel account;
- navigate to "Remote MySQL" of "Databases" sections;

- enter the IP address of remote computer, and click "Add Host";

If your IP address is dynamic, you can allow the wildcard "%". This type of record is not recomended because you give open access to your MySQL database from anywhere.

- once added, your IP address will appear under the "Access Host";
